Flooding in Florida

Bill Bair says in his column in the Sunday paper, "There may be disadvantages to an old Florida home, but flooding is not one of them.  The old settlers built when land was plentiful and they built well off the water...  It is rare to see a home built in the 1920s threatened by floods."  [See Hurricanes & Development post.]
