Tropical Storm Katrina
Katrina dropped from a 5 to a 4 just before making landfall (three landfalls all together) and is now a tropical storm. I've seen footage of the flooding and damage, and it's devastating. Meanwhile, TD 13 seems to be fizzling, but we have to keep an eye on TD 14.

You'd probably know this sooner than I could look it up. You mentioned that TD13 would be Lee if it became a hurricane. Since it didn't, will Lee instead be the name of TD14 if that storm becomes a himicane?
Or does TD14 get named Maggie or Maude?
And if THAT is how it works, then why not name TD13 Lee right away?
I've been writing stories since I was a kid. My stories and articles have been published in print magazines, webzines, and anthologies; and my SF has been published in two audiobooks, including Sugar Time. My books include Strike Three, Detour Trail; Building a Cool House for Hot Times without Scorching the Pocketbook; a children's book, Why Won't Anyone Play with Me?; two story collections:The Doorway and Other Stories (SF) and Aliens, Animals, and Adventure; and four e-books: Hidebound, Pretty Pink Planet, Hot Yellow Planet, and Remodeling: Buying and Updating a Foreclosure. I live in Florida with Blizzard the Snow Princess and Bryn the Flying Corgi.

Hmm....
oino,
Actually, TD13 may be regenerating and could still become Lee, though it shouldn't affect the US.
