Storm update: A respite

The remnants of Rita are in the northeast.  Everyone's grateful that it didn't stall out as predicted earlier.  A wave has swallowed Phillippe; there's a wave in the Caribbean; and there's another one approaching, but at least we haven't made it to Stan yet.
