Providing enough storage in a remodeled kitchen begins with some careful planning, says Daniel Baumann, owner of Design/Build Technology Inc., in Minnetonka, Minn. He has no special formulas for figuring storage needs but does rely on a three-step process as follows:
1. Perform accurate as-built drawings of the existing kitchen facility.
