Curb appeal has traditionally been an important part of the sales process; however, the recently released Real Estate Agent Community Trends (REACT) survey found that it is absolutely essential to getting buyers in the door and fostering a sale. Specifically, 82 percent of agent respondents said they have had potential buyers decline to look at the interior of a home based on the exterior appearance. ...

i have been watching the program 'curb appeal' on hg tv for a few years now. it's amazing what happens to houses when they have become transformed by this program -- houses which once were eyesores becoming cinderallas.
the program 'designed to sell' also is a good program to watch. i especially like that mother/daughter duo -- the freemans. they are a hoot when critiquing homes, especially homes with awful front yards.
Oh, yes. I watch those shows sometimes, also House Hunters. I enjoy seeing the improvements. And for heaven's sakes, don't overplant the yard again! And keep those trees and bushes away from the house!!
