D is for dominoes (the game)
D is for Dominoes, one of my favorite games; I also love board games such as Parcheesi, Sorry, and Chinese Checkers. I keep them on hand for when we want to have old-fashioned fun. They're especially appreciated during power outages, which we often have after hurricanes. They can be found in fancier garb than plain black with white dots; I saw a white set in a catalog recently.

My favorite is Clue, but there's something so wonderfully wholesome about Dominoes.
I do love a good game of dominoes
Nice to meet you

Hi there - visiting from the linky. I haven't played dominoes for a long while but I understand what you mean about old fashioned fun. My friends and I did play charades on Saturday though (aided by a mobile phone charades app!)
great post
do check out my D at GAC a-z
S. L., I ahve never played Clue, sad to say. I do not watch too much TV!
Laura, I've always enjoyed matching the dots; it makes you more observant. Thanks for coming by.
Kirsty, Hi! An app for charades. Who'd have thought it?!
Hi, Paul. Thanks for the invitation.
